What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When you put your information into the contact form, we keep submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes only, we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access: 

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you. 

What we share with others

We do not share information with third parties.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

When shopping, we keep a record of your email and the cart contents for up to 30 days on our server. This record is kept to repopulate the contents of your cart if you switch devices or needed to come back another day. 

RETURNS POLICY

You have a legal right to cancel a contract which starts from the date we confirm your order has been despatched, which is when the contract between us is formed. If the products have already been delivered to you, you have a period of fourteen days in which you may cancel, starting from the day after the day you receive the products. Days mean calendar days, including weekends and public holidays.

Where you have cancelled a contract and the products have already been delivered to you, you should return them to us as soon as possible and in any event no later than 14 days after the day you inform us of your right to cancel.

Where the products have already been delivered to you, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 calendar days after the day on which we receive the returned products, or (if earlier) within 14 calendar days after the day you provide us with evidence that the products were returned to us.

If you are cancelling your order because you’ve changed your mind, please note that you will have to pay the costs for returning the goods if the goods have already been despatched.

Damaged goods

If the products that you receive are damaged or faulty or do not match the description given at the time of the sale of those products, please ensure you return them to us within 21 days of receiving them. In this case, you will be offered an exchange or a full refund, after we have received the returned products. In the event of damaged or faulty products or products that do not correspond to the description given at the time of sale, we will pay for additional postage costs.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

SHIPPING POLICY

Standard Delivery (starts from £3.50) – If you select this option, parcels weighing less than 2kg will be sent with Royal Mail so keep your eyes peeled for your local postie! You can choose first class or second class options. For larger orders (over 2kg), we will use a courier, which will require a signature upon delivery.

Precise Day Delivery or Courier (£7.95) Monday – Friday select the day of your choice (up to 7 days in advance). Orders will be sent via courier and will require a signature. It will be delivered between 8am and 8pm. Orders placed between 3pm Thursday and 3pm Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. 

PLEASE NOTE COVID19 IS STILL PRESENTING DELAYS THIS ISNT SOMETHING I CAN CONTROL AND UNFORTUNENTLY ITS UNAVOIDABLE AT PRESENT. I CANT CHASE PARCELS UNTIL TEN WORKING DAYS HAVE GONE PAST. PLEASE BE PATIENT TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT FOR OCCASIONS THE BEST THING TO DO IS ORDER IN PLENTY OF TIME. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

Lost Parcels 

Unfortunately from time to time parcels do go missing if this happens it has to be ten working days since its been dispatched i also will have to open an investigation with whoever is bringing it whether that is royal mail or the courier.
